Being outdoors has always been my passion. Whether it was cross-country skiing in the cold northern forests of Finland or cycling among the endless mountains of the Austrian Alps. As a professional Nordic combined skier, I spent most of my life training outdoors and travelling the world, competing to win among the best in the world.

My career as an endurance athlete came to an abrupt halt due to cardiac arrhythmias. I was forced to rediscover life outside the “sports bubble”. So, after giving up a dream life as a sportsman, full of physical, mental and geographical movement, I set out in search of a new profession. Even though I managed to earn a degree in environmental science, I never saw myself as an office hero. I discovered that my second passion, the camera, had the potential to bring me back to a life full of outdoor activities, interesting destinations and new challenges. So I decided to take my camera, head outdoors and start creating.

Now I work full-time as a freelance photographer and videographer, focusing on sports and commercial work.

In my free time you can find me outdoors, exploring new places and enjoying the beauty of our nature.
