Compliance status

This website https://it.garmont.com is partially compliant with the accessibility requirements set out in Annex A of UNI EN 301 549 and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 – level AA, due to the non-compliances listed below.

This statement has been prepared in accordance with:

  • Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 – level AA
  • UNI EN 301 549 standard
  • Law No. 4 of 9 January 2004 (Stanca Act)
  • Legislative Decree No. 82 of 27 May 2022, transposing Directive (EU) 2019/882 (European Accessibility Act)

Non-accessible content

The following content is not fully accessible for the following reasons:

  • Some images may lack appropriate alternative text (WCAG 1.1.1 – Non-text Content)

The site is designed to support, as far as possible, keyboard navigation and assistive technologies.

Keyboard navigation

You can navigate the site using a keyboard:

  • Use Enter or Space to activate selected buttons or links
  • Use arrow keys, Page Up, and Page Down to scroll content

Main site functions, including browsing product pages, cart, and checkout, are keyboard accessible.

Some advanced or graphical components may require a mouse.

Zoom and readability

You can zoom website content up to 200% using browser zoom functions without affecting readability of key information.

Evaluation method

Accessibility was assessed through internal self-evaluation using:

  • automated accessibility tools, including Google Chrome Lighthouse
  • manual checks on main navigation and purchasing flows

According to Lighthouse analysis, the site achieved an accessibility score of 95%.

Automated tests identify only part of potential issues; continuous improvement is ongoing.

Enforcement procedure
