My name is Jacopo Pasotti, I am an environmental journalist, author, photographer and speaker.

My photographic work has appeared in Repubblica, National Geographic, Internazionale, El Pais and Deutsche Welle. For several years I have focused my work on the relationship between human societies and a changing environment, especially in the mountains.

I was sent to Antarctica for National Geographic, I reached the North Pole aboard a Russian nuclear icebreaker and I accompanied the CNR on a study of the Baltoro, in Pakistan. I have exhibited my work at the Researchers' Night (Venice), the Food and Science Festival (Mantua) and the MACA (Turin). In 2023 I was invited to TEDx in Bergamo, where I shared my way of observing the changes in the Alpine landscape.

I have published several books on the environment and nature, but also stories for children. In 2011 I received the Premio Piazzano for Scientific Journalism
