My name is Giacomo Casandrini and I am a young Italian filmmaker and documentary maker. Milanese by origin, Venetian by adoption.

I started making videos for fun when I was a child and I never stopped from there, beginning to publish videos on my YouTube channel, which is spelled Yreak (but pronounced airec!), where today I publish my travel documentaries and the content through which I try to reveal the history, cultures, traditions and ways of life of peoples from various countries of the world and from often unexplored places. On my travels I always try to deepen the relationship that the peoples of the Earth have with the environment and the society surrounding them: I believe that it is precisely from this that all the thought processes, cultural traits and habits of us human beings arise.

It is fundamental for me to get to know the places I visit from various points of view and therefore also to take on the sporting challenges that those same places offer: whether it is a simple hike, a kayak trip on a river or a rock-climbing route, outdoor activity is the means to connect with a place in the healthiest and most natural way possible. That's why, within my documentaries, I try to dedicate parts specifically to understanding and exploring the natural landscapes that distinguish the various territories I venture into.
