Shaman

The Shaman is named for the Native American medicine man, the tribe’s “magician”. The Shaman is the Garmont tribe’s magician, with the incredible Freeride Fit evolved from the shrink-wrapped G1. The Shaman is available in a 120 flex index. For “side-country” mobility, the Shaman is available with a unique, bi-injected, rocker-ed ski mountaineering sole that walks comfortably and is compatible with the ISO Touring Norm for use with all step-in ski mountaineering bindings. For use with step-in alpine bindings, the Shaman is available with an ISO alpine sole, biinjected for durability and easier walking.

Monego Giulia

The Shaman is the men version of the Astral boot that i used a couple of season ago. I ski a men boot because i develop quite strong legs muscles during the winter, skiing almost everyday, so i rather have a stiffer boot.
The fit and the precision of the Astral and the Shaman are the same though, and i find them both fantastic.
It fit the foot like a glove, and minimize the material to give more precision on the turn and less useless weight. I love it.
I ski in all kind of snow with it, from hard steep terrains to the deepest powder. I mostly use them when i ski in the resorts using lifts, but thanks to the grippy changables soles, i can even climb and boot pack safely in any kind of surface. Sometimes i walked on icy snow others on rocks, and everytime i felt more confortable than with any other classic ski boot i had before.

I feel that the Shaman and the Astral are the perfect freeride shoes!
