Since 1974 fans of tactical equipment have had a date not to be missed in Nuremberg. This is the IWA Outdoor Classics, the trade show held every year at the exhibition centre in the German city. Created from a show of hunting and shooting weapons, the event has expanded over the years to other areas such as knives, equipment for civil safety and police forces and also the outdoors.
This year IWA Outdoor Classics was held from 9 to 12 March, recording 1.558 exhibitors and over 50.000 visitors. The Show has thus re-established its status as a benchmark for the professional public seeking the latest new ideas in tactical equipment and clothing for outdoor sports.
The Nemesis model aroused great interest at the Garmont stand as the latest product in the tactical line, outstanding in the resistance of its construction and the great stability even on the most difficult terrains. These features are the result of a group of top-level technologies, developed by the company’s in-house R&D laboratory. One of these technologies, the Ergo Last, makes Nemesis a shoe which wraps around the foot ergonomically, in this way ensuring a safe tread. Moreover the Double Damper technology dampens the impact on the ground, reducing fatigue during walking. Finally the Lenzi Perspair upper, with abrasion-resistant yet extremely lightweight fabric, makes Nemesis a shoe with high breathability.
The technical performances and crafted details, typical of the tactical and outdoor footwear by Garmont, have attracted interest from buyers from all over the world. In particular, among others, new visitors from the Middle East, Western Africa and Eastern Europe visited the stand and joined the Garmont world!
